About Angela Hopkins

Angela’s Cookie Jar started out as a part-time hobby in June 2017, and it transitioned into a full-time business by August 2018. I worked in the banking industry for 30 years, but my interest has always been baking. I left the banking world to pursue my dream of owning and operating my own company.

I am a self-taught baker who has been baking since I was at a very young age. Through trial and error, I have perfected my cookies and recipes over time. I was born in Italy and have many memories of my Nonna and Mom baking for the holidays or simply just baking bread for the family. My husband Kevin and I moved to Smiths Falls in May 2017 and we love it. I am a Mom to Stefanie and Adam, and just recently became a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy Christopher.

Baking Is My Passion

I love the act of baking, and I love seeing the reaction of my happy clients as they enjoy my sweet treats. I am grateful that my cookies get to play a supporting role in their weddings, parties, baby showers, and other life events. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than knowing that my cookies make my customers smile every day.

It is my vision to run a successful home-based business, and it is my mission to provide delicious and beautiful cookies to all my customers.
